Gino’s Latest Score: A Cosmic Blue XA Falcon GS Hardtop with a Story to Tell

In our latest YouTube episode, we catch up with our good mate Gino—long-time Ford enthusiast, serial car collector, and all-round legend—who’s added another slice of Aussie muscle to his garage. But this time, there was a catch. Under a bit of “gentle pressure” from the better half, Gino had to offload a ride before he could bring in a new one. So, after saying goodbye to his beloved Boss Mustang, he made room for something pretty special…

Enter the XA Ford Falcon GS Hardtop, finished in its original Cosmic Blue paint and looking every bit the stunner it was back in the day. It’s not every day you find one in this condition—minimal rust, original Parchment trim still intact, and a sweet-running factory 302 V8 under the hood. Aside from a set of extractors and a 3-inch exhaust for that signature rumble, it’s largely untouched. Just the way Gino likes it.

But what makes this coupe really stand out is its story. This car’s done the hard yards—literally. It once toured the Aussie countryside towing a caravan, before ending up in a second-hand yard where it was picked up for next to nothing. Then it spent years tucked away on a farm, rarely driven but lovingly stored. Now it’s landed in the hands of someone who truly understands its value—not just in dollars, but in history and heart.

While Gino’s got a few tweaks in mind, he’s made the call to leave this one as-is for now. No full resto, no wild mods. He’s keeping it as a saviour car—a time capsule of Aussie muscle, preserved for the next generation.

Oh, and just when you thought he was slowing down… think again. Gino’s just picked up an ultra-rare XA Ford GT, which we’ll be revealing in an upcoming episode. You won’t want to miss that one!

Hit the video to hear the full yarn straight from Gino himself, and make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss what he does next. You know as well as we do—he might just sell it tomorrow!
