The custom van build is making serious progress! 🚐🔥 In this update from Aussie Garage, we’re officially around 50% complete on the interior fit-out, and things are really starting to come together. We walk through the behind-the-seats trim, custom leather panels, side panels, and how the seats tuck in snugly like an old-school ute or pickup setup. You’ll also see progress on the roof console, upcoming floor mats and hard boards, and plans for carpet, trim, badges, and chrome detailing. From the back of the van, we preview where the bed, trap door, TV, speakers, and boxes will live, plus what’s still to come before the interior is fully locked in. On the mechanical side, we’ve picked up a new XD diff with disc brakes (2.72 ratio) for the XC, giving better stopping power without changing everything over. Calipers are being refurbished, axles and bearings are on the to-do list, and alignment and exterior prep is happening over the Christmas break. We also cover:
