Carrie has owned his Ford ZC Fairlane since 1989, making this car a true long-term project and labour of love. Over the years the vehicle has been restored and maintained while still keeping its classic Aussie muscle car appearance intact.

Finished in Polar White, the Fairlane looks largely original on the outside. It still carries that iconic long-body design that made the ZC Fairlane such a standout in the late 1960s and early 1970s. However, under the bonnet is where things get seriously interesting.

Instead of the factory engine, this Fairlane now runs a 427 cubic-inch Windsor stroker V8 built on a Dart block, delivering big torque and classic V8 muscle sound.

On the other side of this father vs son showdown is Jayden’s modern Ford weapon — a heavily modified FG XR6 Turbo powered by Australia’s legendary Ford Barra engine.

The Barra has become one of the most respected engines in the performance world thanks to its incredible strength and ability to produce massive horsepower with the right upgrades.

His XR6 Turbo is running a fully built Barra engine producing around 785 horsepower, transforming this sedan into a serious performance machine designed for roll racing, street performance and drag racing.
