KARNAGE 1000 is back! Dan from Aussie Garage heads to Western Australia’s Wheatbelt for another action-packed weekend of dirt track racing, mechanical dramas and good times with mates.

Hosted by DJ from Automotive Karnage, this annual event brings together car enthusiasts, families and YouTube creators for a weekend of dusty racing, friendly competition and plenty of laughs.

KARNAGE 1000 Top 10 Shootout

This year, DJ introduced a new challenge: the KARNAGE 1000 Top 10 Shootout.

Drivers had just one sighting lap and one timed hot lap to secure their place on the leaderboard. No second chances!

With cars sliding around the dirt track, the competition delivered plenty of excitement, close calls and mechanical carnage.

Broken Cars, Flat Tyres and Trackside Repairs

It wouldn’t be KARNAGE 1000 without a few breakdowns!

Throughout the weekend, drivers battled mechanical problems, flat tyres and unexpected recoveries. However, everyone pitched in to keep the cars running and the action going.

Even a little Viva joined the competition, proving you don’t need a powerful V8 to have fun on a dirt track.

Dan Discovers a Tidy Holden HQ Wagon Bumper

Among all the action, Dan stumbled across an unexpected find — a surprisingly good-condition Holden HQ wagon steel bumper.

Original chrome bumpers are becoming harder to find, especially in decent condition. For anyone restoring a classic HQ Holden, finding one like this could be a real bonus.

It’s amazing what automotive treasures can turn up in the middle of the Wheatbelt!

More Than Just Dirt Track Racing

What started as a birthday gathering with DJ and his YouTube mates has grown into something special.

KARNAGE 1000 is now a weekend where friends and families come together, kids learn new skills and everyone enjoys a break in the country.

The weekend also featured presentations and a heartfelt moment for Byron, highlighting the strong friendships behind the event.

Sunday brought even more racing, flat tyres and one final recovery before everyone packed up for home.
