But Allan’s creativity didn’t stop there. To elevate his ride further, he decided to pair the inline-six with a 4L60E gearbox—a rare and unconventional choice for a VH Commodore. Through extensive research, he sourced an HGM computer to control the transmission and collaborated with a local company to integrate it seamlessly. As if that weren’t enough, Allan opted for a slightly modified converter from a VE Commodore, enabling full programmability for the gearbox. The entire system can be fine-tuned through an in-car screen or directly on his phone, giving Allan control and flexibility that’s as modern as it gets.

On the outside, Allan’s Commodore shines with Shadow Tone paint that was recently refreshed, preserving its pristine look and ensuring the car’s exterior is as captivating as its inner workings. The original factory trim has been impeccably maintained as well, adding to the car’s classic yet refined presentation.
