When most enthusiasts think of the Nissan Skyline, the GTS2 usually comes to mind. But long before the GTS2 became a legend, Australia received its own special Skyline – the Nissan Skyline Silhouette.
In this episode of Aussie Garage, we catch up with Phil and his incredibly rare Skyline Silhouette, one of just 200 examples ever produced. Originally built as a homologation special, the Silhouette featured factory Bilstein suspension, a Momo steering wheel, sports interior and unique styling that set it apart from standard models.
What makes Phil’s car even more special is what’s hiding under the bonnet. A turbocharged RB engine transforms this classic Skyline into a serious performer while still retaining the character and history that make the Silhouette so desirable.
