Okay Everyone – here’s an easy way to completely transform your garage into a showroom fit for any Muscle or Classic Car! At Aussie Garage, we recently gave my own garage a serious makeover using the ULTRAGRID Garage Floor Tiles from our mates at Sleek Space – and the results are simply stunning.

Easy to Install – Even If You’re Not a Tradie
I’ll be honest – I have some health conditions that make physical tasks a bit challenging, but even I managed to get this done. If you’re fit and mobile, you could smash this out in a day. Here’s what you’ll need to get it done:
- Marking Pen
- Drop Saw or Jigsaw
- Rubber Mallet
Start from the front row of the garage and work your way backwards. Make sure you leave a 5–10mm expansion gap around the edges to account for temperature changes. The tiles interlock with a satisfying “click” – just use your mallet to tap them into place. When you get to the edges, just cut to size with your saw or jigsaw. We’ve included a demo in our video to show you exactly how to do it right.
Pro Tips from Aussie Garage
- Measure twice, order once. While you’ll end up with some offcuts, accurate planning with the Online Designer ensures minimal waste.
- Take your time. Even if you need to spread the work over a few days like I did, the end result is worth it.
- Keep it clean. These tiles are super easy to clean and make the whole space feel brand new.
The Final Result
Honestly, I couldn’t believe the transformation. It went from a plain concrete shell to a custom, colour-coordinated garage that looks like a high-end workshop. It’s the perfect environment for storing and working on our Muscle Car Projects and filming new Aussie Garage content. The difference is 100% worth it.
