Recently Revived & Ready to Roll

She’s back and better than ever thanks to some serious TLC:

AJ Mods handled the fresh mechanical revival — full service including engine, transmission, diff, brake fluid, and coolant.
Brand-new airlines, solenoids, and wiring.
Vision Trim Shop (Dan) brought the interior back to top form.
Des at AutoFX gave the panel and paint a fresh touch-up with his trademark attention to detail.

Specs & Features

This beast is a 2000 Holden VU SS with only 49,000 genuine kilometres.

Engine: Gen3 LS1 with an upgraded cam and custom trumpet intake manifold
Transmission: Originally a 6-speed manual, now running a Turbo 350 Auto with a large high-stall converter
Diff: 3.9:1 LSD
Suspension: Full air-ride system
Exhaust: Di Fillipo 2.5″ full dual system
Brakes: Big brake setup
Audio: Full JVC system — 2x 10″ subs, two pairs of 6″ splits
Interior: Sparco Fighter seats
Chassis: Waddington Street Rods kit

A Few Minor Notes

Like any project car, there are still a few small things that need attention:

Front air struts has a small leak but does not affect driving
Indicator fuse keeps blowing (likely an earthing issue)
Other minor odds and ends
To become registered as a street car will take a bit, e.g. new standard suspension, wheels, intake manifold, airbox, factory steering wheel with airbag reinstalled and so fourth, wouldn’t take too much (may differ in other states)

Sale Details

Sadly, the current owner is unwell and battling stage 4 cancer, so the ute is now up for sale. Serious buyers are invited to register their interest.
